HELLO EVERYONE!!! Good evening….

Do you guys know what today is??! It’s my birthday!!! 🎂🎂🎊🎉🎁👏🏾. 32 years old today!! And I must say I don’t look like it at all!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎈🎂🎁🎉🎊 TO ME!!!!! My 32 chapter of life. I thank God for letting me see another birthday 🎂🙏🏾💯👌🏾💪🏾 I woke up to my SON staring at me/over me lol, I opened my eyes and he smiling while singing “HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU…. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU…. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BEAUTIFUL MOMMIE, I LOVE YOU” 🥰🥰😘😘💪🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾💯💯 I love my son SO much!! And he can be so sweet , but majority of the time he’s just like me lol. He made my BIRTHDAY special already. It’s been rough through the years but I’m still here!!! Yet another year, 32 might I add. ☺️☺️ AGAIN…. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME…!!!!

So very thankful for God letting me live to see another birthday. It’s a pretty day outside, I don’t plan on doing much, just going to snuggle up with my baby boy and watch some movies. You can’t do to much without transportation/funds. But I’m still very thankful… thankful for being a live to see another birthday.

I’m So Happy!! 1,000 Likes On My Blog “Face Depression,” And I Received “The Sunshine Blogger Award,” Special Special Thanks To All My Followers!!

Good evening everyone!! How is everyone’s Thursday going?? It’s a very happy Thursday for me!! I woke up, thanked God for another day here on earth, brushed my teeth, and took my normal hour bath… and cooked me a little breakfast. I remember when I once didn’t even eat breakfast… I usually didn’t eat until late in the evening, that’s how I know getting the help I needed was in fact, astonishing for me… but yeah I cooked and ate, and I did the normal which is getting on WordPress and checking my blog/notifications, and search and read some other blogs. From my great followers, and more.

While checking my notifications I see my second notification….

Yesss!! 1,000 likes on my blog! I’m so thankful and I’m so happy!! If I could just help someone… (tears) I knew somebody is listening… someone would feel me. Someone would understand me. If I could just help that one, anyone, I was happy. I know how it feels to be diagnosed with a mental illness, and how hard it is to accept it. I know how hard it is to suffer from a mental illness, I know the signs, I know the feelings and thoughts that everyone are/Is experiencing.

It isn’t easy, and I know it’s very painful. I know how it is to not have a support system, or one not as strong as you need them to be, I know about it all. I know how it feels to feel alone. I know how it feels to feel all alone through it. But I found out, I am not alone. I found out mental illness claims so many, even some celebrities are struggling with mental illness. That right there… taught me nobody is perfect, and that it can happen to anybody.

I know how it feels to feel ashamed because of the negative stigma about mental illness. But I also realized not getting the help I needed, and me being ashamed about it, was also like me contributing to the negative stigma about mental illness. And that wasn’t happening. The only thing I wanted to contribute to is to spread awareness about mental illness. To teach others the signs and the symptoms, help others with coping, my journey with a mental illness as well as be a motivation to others. Being a motivation by showing them you are not alone, that there’s nothing wrong with asking for help or needing help, that there is hope, that treatments do work, and that they must never lose focus.

Looking at my notifications and to see my blog “Face Depression” has 1,000 likes is priceless. I’m so excited! And a special thanks to all my followers and new followers. Thanks to everyone who like my blog and takes time out of their day to read my posts. I’m very grateful… because when I first started my blog I didn’t think nobody would actually read my posts or understand where I’m coming from, my purpose. No it’s not 10,000 or 20,000 likes but it shows me that I’m going somewhere, that there’s nice people who actually read and see my creative side, and some understand just where I’m going, and some understanding the journey with a mental illness.

I am very grateful. 1,000 is a lot to me. It’s amazing. I have more courage to move forward.

Because your mental health matters! All of ours!!

Just like other physical illnesses are severe… such as cancer, diabetes, and lupus, mental illnesses is also… such as major depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and schizophrenia. Just to name a few of them. And there’s so many people with a mental illness that don’t seek help, or treatment. Some may be ashamed or some may be afraid to labeled as ‘crazy’ which you are not, and than there’s some that may be in-denial about it. Some may even be scared… I know I was, because of the negative stigma about mental illness, but I eventually got the help I needed. I realized that me thinking it’ll go away on it’s own… was wrong! Everyday just got worse.

I’m here to tell those who are ashamed to get help, or those that know they need help but have to much pride to admit it/accept it, or even those who think asking for help makes you a weak person…. that getting the help and treatment you need is the best thing you can do for you, and your health. I’m here to tell to tell you, you, you, and you, that no matter the mental illness, without getting treatment things will just grow worse.

I’m very proud that my blog has 1,000 likes. To my followers, my readers… MUAH! Thanks for the support like the comments, the likes, shoutouts. Blogging is still very new to me, I’m still learning. But I’m very much paying attention. The other day I was awarded with the sunshine blogger award from a beautiful blogger of mine, Susi Bocks…

Thanks to everyone!! It’s a honor to be recognized. A special Thank you!! Especially to Ms. Susi Bocks! It makes me feel like I’m on the right track. Even though it’s been a few days ago, thanks so much Ms. Susi Bocks. Like I said blogging is still new to me… I’m not sure how to tag anyone, and I’m not sure if you can even tag on WordPress (lol) but I’m getting the hang of everything slowly but I’ll get there. I am thankful for all my readers, all my followers. I started blogging on mental illness because I want others to understand that it’s okay not to be okay, I want them to know that they’re not alone. Talk to someone, I’m here if anyone needs to talk. I’ll also help you find a good therapist, and counseling. Because that’s what I want… to talk to others and let them all know it’s all okay. I want to show them that getting treatment and counseling… will help them. I want them to understand that mental illness can be treated.

I want to show them that they can beat this! So I will most definitely keep blogging on mental illness. Mental illness gets no type of recognition. But that’s what I’m here for….

P.s I actually started writing this post this morning, at about 10 am… I had 2 appointments with my doctor, and I didn’t get to finish it. Which means I didn’t get a chance to publish it… until just now. But better late than never right?! (lol) I hope you all have a great night… remember to pray before you lay. Goodnight.

Mental Illness? Don’t Give Up Keep Fighting! And Keep Pushing… You Are Not Alone
Remember this: You’re not alone!!

To anybody struggling with a mental illness, and you feel ashamed… I want you to know that you are not alone. You are not the only person struggling with a mental illness disorder and you can heal. You don’t have to feel guilty, constant embarrassment, constant worrying, or constant anxiety and so many more thoughts and feelings that sneaks up on you without any warning.

You have no reason to be ashamed because you’re not the only… you have no reason to be embarrassed because everyone needs help at sometime, or some point, in there life.

There’s different treatments that helps with those dark feelings, there’s therapy that’ll help you with healing, there’s medications that’ll help you feel like yourself again.

It’ll be astonishing. For you. I promise.

The negative stigma about people with mental illnesses, comes from people who have no knowledge about it. It comes from people who haven’t had not one experience. Know that those people… their words… is just plain ignorance. It makes no sense. The stigma sucks if you ask me.

Because they know nothing about your feelings, or what you’re going through. Only you know. I want you all to know you are somebody! You are strong! I want you all to know, not to ever give up! You can, and will win this fight of darkness.

Depression, bipolar, anxiety, major depressive disorder, clinical depression, and all other mental illnesses… are serious!! They’re real and serious, and just as severe, as any other illness.

It’s okay to understand, and not to understand the chaos in your head is yours alone, that no matter how much therapy you get, and how many times your friends and family tell you it’s going to be ok their are things—thoughts, memories, images, feelings— that can’t be vocalized.

You are the only one that knows how you feel. Only you know how it felt when you wanted to end it all. Just as well as I’m the only person that knows how those feelings and emotions of ‘depression’ feels myself… but it is okay.

It’s okay if you have bipolar disorder. It’s okay if you struggle with depression. It’s okay if you struggle with anxiety attacks. It’s okay!! As humans we tend to idolize happiness… whatever that even is. And in the progress, we ultimately demonize it’s perceived antithesis. We really do fear it. And most times as a result, we shy away or we fall silent. It’s so many ways it’s in our nature. To compete and to prove to other people that we’re doing well, happy and that we’re successful. It’s the illusion, growing by things like social media, the dilemma of the multidimensional gone flat.

Sometimes you feel weak because you can’t be “happy” in the way society demands. We sometimes hate ourself for our inability to just be ‘okay’ and we feel as if we’re weak.

But you are not.

Feelings And Your Mental Health Is Important

Feelings and mental health is important because it’s a essential part of your life and impacts your thoughts, behaviors, and your emotions… It plays an important part in the health of your relationships and allows you to adapt to changes in your life and cope with difficulties.

Good evening everyone, I hope you all are having a great day Sunday.

If you are feeling down or you don’t feel motivated today I am here to help that. I am going to help you revalue yourself. I am going to help you love yourself again. I’m going to help you care for you.

Most times, those of us with a mental illness, don’t feel pretty, or we don’t feel worthy, or we don’t feel love, or loved. But that stops now! No negative at all, all positive vibes.

You can use some of these tips to rebalance yourself, or to even keep balance.

Value yourself:

Treat yourself kindness and respect. Avoid self-criticism, and make time for some of your favorite hobbies, your favorite projects, or even take some dance classes. How you think about yourself can have a big effect on how you feel. Practice words that promotes feelings of self worth, like personal power.

Take good care of your body:

Taking care of yourself physically, can actually improve your mental health. Be sure that you eat nutritious foods, and remember to always drink plenty of water. One other thing, which helps decrease depression and anxiety, is exercising, it also improves your moods. Also, make sure you get as much sleep as you can, enough sleep. Lack of sleep contributes to a very high rate of depression. Mainly in college students.

Give yourself:

Help someone who may be in need of help. Volunteer your time and energy to help the needy. You’ll feel so good about doing something tangible for someone. It’s also a good way to meet new people.

Surround yourself around positive people:

Some people have stronger family support than others, but that’s okay because there are activities to get out and meet new people. Those with the strong support system, social connections are generally healthier than those who lack support. But there are support groups, you can meet new people at a club. Make plans with supportive people, it can be family members, or close friends. Surround yourself around people who care for you, people who got your back, people who are there to pick up your slack. Not just anyone.

Learn how to do deal with stress:

Whether you like it or not, stress is actually apart of life. There are ways to practice good coping skills: try Tai chi, or take a natural walk, or try writing in your journal as a stress reducer. Remember to smile, and see the humor in life. Many research shows that laughter is good and can boost your immune system, relax your body, ease pain and reduce stress.

Quiet your mind:

You can meditating, mindfulness, or even prayer. Relaxation exercises and prayer can improve your state of mind, and outlook on life. Meditation may help you feel more calm, and it would enhance the effects of therapy. There’s many resources on personal well-being.

Get help when you need it:

Honestly seeking help is a sign of strength— not weakness! If you get the appropriate care, and help, you can recover from mental illness, and addiction, and live a very rewarding life.

Practice forgiveness:

If it’s forgiving that person who cut u off completely, forgive them. Those who forgive have better mental health, and be more satisfied with their life.

Feeling stressed? Than smile:

It might not be the easiest thing to do, but smiling can keep you calm, as well as help your heart rate.

Do something with family and/or your friends:

Have a bbq or maybe a little cook out, play games in the backyard. Go to the park, take a walk and talk. Spending time with friends, or family, people are more likely to be happy.

Before I start I want you guys to do something before reading this. Look at yourself in the mirror and recite the following about 3 times: Your name, I LOVE YOU. Mean what you say while saying it. Don’t pay attention to anything else. Now anwer this? How did you feel? What feelings occured? Can you feel the words I love you? Some people are drived to tears while performing this simple, but very powerful assignment. Let’s really be honest, In order to love someone else you have to love yourself first. When you love yourself first, life will most defintely take care of the rest. If you cannot love yourself how can you embrace the love of someone else? You are likely to feel undeserving, while yearning for love and closeness of another person. That’s where hostilities occur.

When you love yourself, life takes care of the details because everything else is really minor compared to the faith in of one’s self. Nothing or no one can tear you down.

Self love is most definitely one of the best things you can do for yourself, trust and believe me when I say this, and some may not think so. Everyone has their very own opinion. But I say that self love is important, being in love with yourself gives you self-confidence, self worth and it will actually make you feel more positive. Self love defined as ”love of self’ or regard for one’s own happiness or advantage” has both been conceptualized as a moral flaw or as a basic human necessity.

When you hold yourself really high in esteem and actually know you are fulfilling your purpose in life, you tend to have more and more enjoyment and a more positive attitude towards your future.

Self-love can really motivate you to adopt healthy habits and to take care of your physical self. You may notice less anxiety and depression and you may notice that you’re more optimism. Self love is the best and it is indeed a better recovery from stress. Self-compassion is a way of relating to yourself that doesn’t involve harsh judging or even punishing yourself for every mistake you make, or every time someone may do better than you.

Self-compassion involves you treating yourself with the same kindness or concern and support that you would to a real true friend.

At times, when faced with difficult struggles, or even confronting personal mistakes, failures, and inadequacies, self-compassion responds with kindness rather than that very harsh self- judgement, recognizing that imperfection is part of the shared human experience.

Forgive yourself and love yourself. Always be true to yourself. You might not believe it, but how you treat yourself sets the principle for how others will treat you. Self-acceptance is the starting point to living a complete life when you show up with your complete self. Admittedly, there are times when you don’t feel at all loveable. It is normal and we’ve all experienced those moments. The honest truth. It starts and ends with YOU.

Your real personality is the most well built/powerful commitment you make to yourself. Your story of unworthiness is a lie made-up from others and increased over time, even though this isn’t really who you are. It is a constant statement and a developed description.

Never feed those doubts, positive or negative because you know what you give life to. Do not let your problems overcome you, use them to strengthen your real power. Work on being in love with the person you see in the mirror who has been through so much but is still standing tall. Stop caring about how you look, because true love from others, they won’t care about your skin tone, hairstyle, or weight.

In order to truly love ourselves, we can not let the way we look define our personal worth. It can’t be our only “calling card” for love, sex, or a relationship. It can’t be what determines our worthiness of joyfulness or family or a promotion at your job. Take a moment to think about it: the people that know and love us the most really could careless about our weight skintone or hairstyle or hair color. Yes the society we live in nowadays is focused, and obsessed with beauty.

Most of us are raised to admire beautiful people, such as successful actors, and models. Worrying about how Beyoncé look, or how thick and beautiful Nicki Minaj is It is what it is. But you are somebody and you are beautiful, don’t those with money and fame fool you. It ain’t all goody goody, trust and believe me.

Win yourself over and know that you’re an absolute 100% drop dead gorgeous catch, so don’t you even dare to treat yourself otherwise. Of course you may need to sometimes remind yourself ,and surprise yourself. Amaze yourself over and over with your musing ways. Don’t compare yourself, life is not a race so stop competing.

Self-love is actually a big journey. It definitely takes a lot of dedication, devotion, and a lot of practice. be determined to love yourself each and every day and you just watch how your best self is blossoming, and your greatest life unfolds. Think about how you really treat yourself on a daily basis as if you were another person, or dating yourself, in a relationship with you. Are you actually good to yourself? Is your mind good to your body, and soul? In my own spiritual journey, I notice at times we all:

  • *Beat our self up with harsh selftalk
    • We set ourselves up for failure with unrealistic beliefs.
  • Strip ourselves of things we deserve through self-sabotaging behaviors

Stop telling yourself you’re not worth it, and tell yourself you are worth it, and you deserve it. Stop beating yourself up. Love yourself first, and everything else will fall into place. I’m a living witness to this.

Loving yourself first isn’t selfish at all

Practice gratitude and aim true, write down 6 things that makes you smile, and things you’re grateful for. Be the real you, be the best version of you. Don’t just exist, live!! Find your purpose in life. Than you can share them with the world, if you want too. Listen to your body, take time to give your soul and heart happiness. Remember to always trust your intuition, it’ll never ever, ever, let you down. Appreciate every moment, and every time that we have on this beautiful earth.

Always be kind to others, and expect the unexpected. Be open, and be true to change. Always admit when you’re wrong, because nobody on this earth is perfect. Trust in yourself and know that anything is possible. Know that anything you put your mind to can be achieved. Straight facts. Always remember you are stronger than you think, and what others think about you, is none of our concern, or none of our business. Everyday that you wake up choose happiness, and know that no one is in charge of your happiness except you. Never be ashamed to ask for help, because the strongest people know when they need help, and the strongest ask for help.

Smile at that stranger everyday, because you never know, just by that moment, how much you made their day. Be careful, and be mindful, of who you open up to, because there’s not many that actually care, and majority just be curious. Now this is a fact, if someone wants to be in your life, trust and believe me, they’ll make they way towards you, they’ll make that time for you. Really though. Don’t worry about the details. Take time to find yourself, and when you find yourself, be that. It’s just that simple.

We don’t meet people just to meet people, trust and believe me, you met them all for a reason. It wasn’t accidental. You all crossed paths for a reason. Step out on faith at least this once in your life and live life with no regrets, and know that it is okay, to not have it all figured out yet. Know that you don’t have to always be strong all the time cry if you have to cry, give yourself time for everything to unfold. Don’t set yourself up for disaster, trying to please everybody. Real love requires inner work. First we must be happy with ourselves, be happy in ourselves, come to know ourselves, and to accept ourselves, and love ourselves. We have to find peace of mind, find our passion and our purpose.

Know that actions speak louder than words. Trust that(your) inner wisdom. Make sure to live the life you love. Some people wait all the way until Friday, all year for summertime, all life for happiness. Don’t you let that happen to you. Everyday, make a promise to fall in love with yourself. Practice self-love on a daily basis. It is vital.

Remember that you don’t have to, and you will not, put up with someone who is careless with your heart. And you don’t be careless with someone else’s heart. What you don’t want done to you, you shouldn’t do it to others. Very simple.

Always surround yourself with people who support you and inspire you. And know that in this moment, right now, you are exactly where you’re supposed to be.

Love yourself first, and everything will fall right in place afterwards.

Good Morning Everyone. I Wanna Talk About Relationships This Morning. If A Woman And Man Love Each Other They Wouldn’t Hurt Each Other. If A Man Is Out Here Cheating It’s Because He Don’t Respect You And The Same For A Woman! Yes, Everybody Is Human And No One Is Perfect But If You Truly Love And Respect Someone It Would Kill You Inside You Couldn’t Do It. It Is Possible To Love Or Even Care For A Person You Betray But Not Enough. You Can Obviously Have Feelings For That Person Yes Because You Are Both In A Relationship after All. But If You Truly Love A Person With All Your Heart And Soul There Will Not Be No One Else In The Picture. Other Men Or Women Wouldn’t Even Exist. If You Out Here Messing with This One And That One You Don’t Care About Your Relationship At All Or Even Value It. You May Feel That Love But It Isn’t Strong Enough. Because If So Your Heart Wouldn’t Allow You To Cheat On Your Woman/Man. Yes I Believe That You Can Love A Person And Cheat But That Shows That The Love Isn’t Burning Brightly It Isn’t Real Real Love. Throughout My Whole Life I’ve Dated About 5 Guys And I Have Been Cheated On. Which At That Time I Was About 20 Or 21 And The Man Had My Mind Gone Y’all Hahaha. You Couldn’t Tell Me Nothing About Him! I Truly Loved Him And Was Faithful To Him The Whole Time Because Once I Love, I Love Hard And I Don’t Want Nobody Else.! I Never Been The Type To Go From This Man To That Man. Never! I Just Wouldn’t Feel Right. I’m Not That Type Of Woman Once You Got Me You Got Me. Anyways, You Couldn’t Tell Me Nothing About Him I Had People Telling Me Things About Him Cheating And I Didn’t Wanna Hear It At All. He Cheated On Me And Would Lie About It. I Mean Hey… He Made Sure I Was Straight On Money Made Sure My Hair Was Done Nails And Toes Was Done But Deep Down I Was Hurt And I Kept Asking Myself “Why Are You Putting Up With This?” We Was Together For Years You Hear Me Longer Than 5yrs.! After A While I Got Tired Of Dealing With That. I Love Myself To Much And I Knew I Was Worth So Much More Than That. Most People Think If Your Bf/Gf Lie About Cheating It’s Because They Don’t Want To You… It Might Be True But Once You Go Out There And Cheat You Already Saying F*** Your Relationship And Her Or Him!!! That’s Hurt To Start Off! And Not To Mention You All In The Public So That Really Shows You don’t Care At All. I Told Him I Don’t Want To See Or Talk To Him Ever Again And That He Gone Miss Me When I’m Gone And It’s Years Later And He Stalking, Calling, Texting And Even Crying!! No Lie And I Promise You I’ll Never Go Back! Every Time He Text Or call I Ignore Him. I Learned That If Someone Loves You They Not Gonna Hurt You! If he Loved Me, We Would’ve Still Been Together Probably Married because besides the Cheating And Lies We Was Like Bonnie and Clyde. To Make This Shorter, All I’m Saying Is… If You Love Someone Truly And With All Your Heart You Wouldn’t Do Anything To Mess That Up! Get Out That Relationship And Wait Until God Send You The Man/ Woman He Knows You Deserve Don’t Settle For Just Anything. Nobody’s Perfect And Yes We Are All Humans But I Know For A Fact If You Honestly And Truly Love Someone You Wouldn’t Put Yourself In A Position Of Losing Them.
