HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Happy New Year!!!!

Well well well… it is now 2020!!! We made it in safe and it is truly a blessing. Because somebody didn’t wake up, somebody didn’t make it to 2020, so it is definitely a blessing to see a new year.

I’m wishing nothing but the blessings to you all and your families. I pray and wish that all of our dreams (your dreams) come true, we just have to keep pushing through, we have to understand that not everything is going to go our way. Keep the faith and no matter what… always remember, that it’s never to late to accomplish your dreams, or should I say your goals.

I have many great wishes for all of you… I pray that whoever is going through something, feeling so not loved, or feeling like not a thing in your life is astounding, remember that it’s a new year 2020 its a new beginning, a new chapter, to do and to accomplish your goals. You can make it happen! Don’t let nothing or no one stop you. Do what you got to do for you, you can make your aspirations come true.

A year has gone by and new year anticipates all of us. This new year expects us. A new year comes with promises, resolutions, and last but not least… we can make positive changes in our lives, that’ll lead towards a positive and beautiful future. Take last year for instance, if you didn’t accomplish your goal last year, it’s 2020 a new year let’s make it happen.

A new year is a change, while that change we believe we can change right along with it. It takes dedication, you have to be determined to change. If last year wasn’t your who’s to say this year won’t be?! Just like the freshness from Gain’s washing powder, I hope and pray that the new year brings a lot of excitement and accomplishments for us all. I’m counting my blessing everyone and wishing you all more.

Choose to make the rest of your life the best of your life.

It’s a new year 2020… anything or anybody negative you have to dismiss them. Being around negative people, rubs off on you. Choose to be joyful and not happy because joy is a constant delight, choose to make your goals a reality.

— Face Depression

So once again, HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE, especially to all followers.

I wish you all the best. I wish that the new year brings love, accomplishments, positive changes in life if needed, and I wish nothing but motivation and inspiration to continue to fight, and achieve your goals in life and also to remember that you’re not alone in this. Yeah we may suffer with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or ocd, but we’re all humans… and we all can succeed and accomplish our goals, and live happy and free.

Mental Health: How To Keep Pushing When You Feel Like Giving Up

Mental Health: How To Keep Pushing When You Feel Like Giving Up

No matter how victorious you might be in business and life, success doesn’t give you impunity and humanness. To be honest, we all have our bad days, especially days where you don’t want to get out of bed. What happens when we feel so low, what happen when we feel our purpose, what do we do when we feel like giving up, whether it’s a relationship or employment? Also, what if this feelings and emotions last weeks, months, or even years?

Some days are light but motivating. Some days are purely procedures. And some days you may think to yourself “ugh, I give up.” You just feel like giving up on everything, i everyday tasks.

Remember that saying what doesn’t kill you can only make you stronger? Well sometimes it doesn’t always make you stronger. Sometimes it’s really hard in life, sometimes life is way more than you can carry. Stress just piling up, one stress to another. Stress piling up when you haven’t gotten over the first blow. It be blow after blow sometimes.

You’re hobbling on, but each day gets harder and harder. It’s harder to tend to your commitments, harder to care about anything or anyone, including you, and it’s even harder to get out of the bed almost every day. Ideas don’t even come to mind, new ideas, making just about everything feeling like you’re just floating through antidote. This only adds to your sense of failure.

You really want it to end, most times your spirit threatens you to shatter under an immense load of bad events, thoughts, or feelings. Not to mention, holidays are often the hardest time, as you’re trying to cope with really high expectations that far exceeds the resources that’s actually available. High-quality images of people and their lives that doesn’t match your reality. It’s very very painful.

The atmosphere is very dark, and your strength is gone, so what’s there to do? What can you do? like right now? Perhaps all your brain wants unconsciousness, yet your body solely knows one thing. When broken, even at the extremities of suffering and pain, your body still strives through. When aiding your body can actually help your mind.

Very often we as people neglect our physical health when we feel low. Caught up in mental and emotional battles. If you really think about it, our physical needs is really another burden to carry, so we kind of ignore them. Honestly, we have to acknowledge the battles and set them aside for now, rather than being consumed by feeling and thinking. All we have to do is, something practical, but it’s to help ourselves. For example, you need to focus on survival, yes it’s strange but it’s true. Our minds rest easier in a body that is usefully occupied.

When you keep yourself occupied constantly, you’ll find peace than your body and mind can be at ease. Our minds can rest much easier and function correctly, in a body that keeps active. “Face Depression”

You need both your mind and body to work together in order to feel better.

I’ve experienced those days before, that’s why I know how to deal with those day when they come approach. We’re all humans, we all have some some days and some bad days. But we have to do what’s right/what’s best for our mind and our body.

I’ve came up with some ways/somethings you can do when you feel like giving up. Check it out…. give it a try. Let’s not stay sad let’s get happy

Why I Blog On Mental Illness/Mental Health Disorders? Read To Find Out Exactly Why

Why I Blog On Mental Illness/Mental Health Disorders? Read To Find Out Exactly Why

Mental illnesses often, well always, goes without any understanding, most people actually believe it’s all a fake, like it’s all in everyone’s mind. Especially if the illnesses aren’t visible. Which is so unfair to those who’s actually suffering.

It’s sad that people actually think all mental illnesses can/should be seen. And believing that it can’t or won’t happen to them. Those beliefs… makes me sick! It can happen to anybody, no matter your lifestyle, your skin color, or your age, mental illnesses don’t discriminate towards no one.

Many people feel that mental illness is rare, something that only happens to people with life differences, situations, very different from their own. Believing it will never affect them. There’s studies of the epidemiology of mental illness indicate that this belief is very far from accurate.

I blog on mental illnesses because they are very real. It can happen to anyone, it doesn’t have to just be because of a person’s life differences, or situations. But it can most definitely happen. No matter how old you are or what color you are. It doesn’t matter if you’re a girl or boy, man or woman.

Now on the other hand…. sometimes mental health problems can happen from certain life situations. But not all the time. I blog because I know how it feels to feel extreme sadness, dark emotions, and always feeling guilty. Those heartless feelings. Feelings that have you feeling guilty for just thinking them.

I’m here to tell those who don’t believe in mental illnesses… do some research, it’s real. Mental illnesses are so real. It’s just the same/just as important as a physical illness. Stop with the negative stigma about mental illnesses if you’ve never ever experienced one or more of mental illnesses. How can you judge something that you’ve never had to lug around day and night? Something that can really be severe to fight. It affects how a person think, feel, or mood. It also affects how you behave, and function. What’s so hard about understanding, and excepting that?

Those beliefs and those negative comments on mental illnesses is very discriminating and very selfish. Especially to those who don’t understand it or who have never experienced any of the conditions. The negative comments, the negative stigma towards mental illnesses makes me so furious!!

I blog on mental illnesses because The darkness of depression, bipolar, and panic attacks are so real, the pain and heartache, the emotions as well as feelings, can be severe. Symptoms of mental illnesses can be life threatening, so tell me… how it’s not real?! To those who say “it’s all in our minds.” We wish it was all in our minds!

Who wants to feel depressed, sad, guilty, or catch panic attacks or anxiety attacks for the hell of it? That’s just crazy! Now that’s insane to even think that! Just plain ridiculous.

That’s why I’m here…. to spread awareness, and to let others know that it is okay if you have a mental health disorder. You have no reason to be ashamed about it, and you have no reason to hide it.

If not taken care of, like getting treatment, mental illnesses can take over your life. Depression (major depression), bipolar disorder, ptsd, and ocd can be treated. Just like all other mental illnesses. Just like physical Illnesses such as cancer, diabetes, and heart disease.

Mental illnesses are the exact same way, when a person is diagnosed with cancer, they have to get treatment and take their medications, it’s the same thing with your mental health. It’s okay if you have to take medications all your life, your mental health matters. Don’t let depression or any other mental illness take over your life. The plan is to fight back and regain your life.

Getting treatment, asking for help, and by taking your medicine how it’s prescribed to you, and also keeping up with your appointments… and last but not least…, going to therapy. That is the first best step to fighting back and wanting to regain, and reclaim your life back, and also on the road to recovery.

Hello Everyone New Blog Post Coming Soon… And Also Why It’s Been Awhile Since I’ve Made A Blog Post

Hello Everyone New Blog Post Coming Soon… And Also Why It’s Been Awhile Since I’ve Made A Blog Post

Good afternoon everyone! It’s such a cool day today here in Louisiana. This weather is so confusing. One minute it’s cold and the next it’s hot, or storming raining outside. Lol. That’s why a lot of people here get sick quick, because of our confused weather here. It could be 30 degrees outside one day, and the very next day it’ll be so hot such as 80 degrees, crazy weather huh?

Speaking of sick… my son just recently got diagnosed with the mild flu… glad we caught it in time before it actually turned to the flu. The flu is the last thing he needs or me, the flu makes an adult feel horrible, lots of pain, and feel yucky, so you know how it’ll make a child feel.

But… I know it’s been a few weeks since I’ve posted, but for some reason my pressure was 175/110 for a few days, than it dropped to 130/110. Which is still high. This is the first time I have had any problem with my pressure being high, or just pressure problems period.

It was high for about 2 days. I thought laying down and relaxing would help it go down. So, on the 3rd day, with almost everyone scaring me saying, “omg that’s to high you could catch a seizure,” or “Get to your doctor now!” I called my doctors office.

When I called my doctors office and told them my pressure was 175/110 the nurse told me that’s entirely to high, she put me on hold to go check with my doctor and he also said that’s to high, and to come to the office now! After that…. omg they had me terrified! Like I said I’ve never had any problems with my pressure, so that was very scary for me. So I went to my primary care doctor’s office, and they checked my vitals.

They checked my pressure again, (just to double check, and to make sure my machine at home was working properly), and yes it was the exact same numbers as I checked at home. My doctor asked if I’ve taken any new medications, or have I been eating plenty of salt lately, but my answer was no, and still is no. All my medications was the normal I told him, and that salt has never been my favorite, not even close to plenty.

To make a long story short… I may have to take pressure medications, and change up my diet, and also my lifestyle. Especially with trying to help everybody, and when I can’t I feel really bad. If they’re a close friend, I most definitely feel their pain in certain situations and life circumstances.

But like my doctor said… there’s nothing wrong with being a good person/friend but if it’s not healthy for me, my mental health, than sometimes you have to back off… take time for yourself and take care of yourself. Especially your physical and mental health. They’re most important.

Don’t ever forget that…

Okay so down below is my next post coming up. Don’t miss out. I wouldn’t miss out if I were you. “The Brain And Mental Illness” stay tuned for sure.

Always remember you are not alone and don’t give up and keep pushing…. we got this fight! We gonna beat this and we can beat this!

Mental Health: A Guide To Understanding A-little About Mental Illnesses

Mental Health: A Guide To Understanding A-little About Mental Illnesses

There’s many different conditions that are recognized as mental illnesses. Down below are the more common types… welcome to a way to understanding mental illnesses.

What is Mental Illness? Mental illnesses are conditions that affects a person’s thinking, mood, feeling, behavior, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, or schizophrenia. Such conditions may be occasional or long-term and long-lasting (chronic) and affect someone’s ability to relate to others and function each day.

It is when someone lacks the ability to manage day to day tasks and/or control their behavior so that basic physical and emotional needs are threatened or unmet.

What is Mental Health? Mental health includes our emotional, our social well being, and psychological. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and to make healthy choices. Your mental health is important at every stage of life from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.

Even though the terms are regularly used interchangeably, poor mental health and mental illness are not the same things. A person can experience very poor mental health and even be diagnosed with a mental illness. Otherwise, a person diagnosed with a mental illness can experience periods of physical, mental well-being, and social well-being.

Why is mental health very important for overall health?

Physical and mental health are both equally important elements of overall health. Mental illness such as depression, increases the risk for many types of physical health problems, particularly long-lasting conditions like stroke, heart disease, and type 2 diabetes. Equivalently, the presence of chronic conditions can most definitely increase the risk for mental illness.

Can your mental health change?

Yes, your mental health can change overtime yes… most definitely. It’s important to remember that a person’s mental health can in fact change over time, depending on many factors. When the commands placed on a person exceed their resources and their coping abilities, their mental health could be a testimony. It could be impacted.

If you have a mental health condition, you’re not alone. 1 in 5 U.S. adults experiences some form of mental illness in any given year. Across America, 1 in 25 adults is living with a serious mental health condition such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or long-term recurring major depression.

Just as with other serious illnesses, mental illness is not your fault or that of that of the people around you, but the widespread of misunderstandings about mental illness still remains. Sadly. Many people don’t seek treatment or remain unaware that they’re symptoms could be connected to a mental health condition. Some people expect a person with a serious mental illness to look visibly different from others, and they might tell someone who does not “look ill” to “get over it” through willpower. These misconceptions add to the challenges of living with a mental health condition.

Every year people overcome the challenges of mental illness to do things that they enjoy doing. Through developing and following a treatment plan, you can suddenly reduce many of your symptoms. People with mental health conditions, can and actually do pursue higher education, succeed in their careers, and have relationships and friends. Mental illness can slow us down sometimes, but we don’t have to let it stop us right?!
